Volunteering at NEC

If you have some time on your hands,  are keen to get involved in a local organisation, or are passionate about the environment, then volunteering at the Nelson Environment Centre’s Ecoland could be a great way for you to get involved.

Over the years, we have been very privileged to work with a wide range of volunteers, who have freely shared their skills, experience, talents and knowledge with us. People from all walks of life, different backgrounds and ages, experiences and skills  have joined with us to achieve shared goals and a common purpose.

First supermarket collection CountdownVolunteers have been involved in developing and maintaining our previous site at Braemar and supporting our educational initiatives.  At Ecoland we welcome volunteers to help us manage our Kai Rescue and Electronic Waste recycling service.  We also need support to maintain our website,  fundraise, promote our centre and support the development of the centre for the benefit of the whole community.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the form below and we’ll be in touch.
