We are fortunate to be able to offer our support as an umbrella organisation to smaller organisations in our community.
What do we mean by umbrella support?
With 49 years under our belt as a non-profit organisation, we have a strong and proven governance. Acting as an umbrella organisation means that we can lend this experience in support of smaller organisations, to help them access funding and grants that they would not be able to access without their own governance. This can be especially valuable support while these groups are working towards becoming established in their own right.
About Us
We’re working towards a world where no woman faces Perinatal depression or birth trauma alone. Instead she feels connected to her village and able to embrace her intuition.
We support women in their transition to motherhood by providing opportunities for connection through workshops in Nelson and Tasman, and an online holistic directory, raising up local services, businesses and shared resources.

Tasman Bay Textile ResQ
About Us
Nelson Tasman Textile ResQ Collective formed in 2023, driven by shared concern over textile waste. New Zealand sends 220 tonnes to landfill annually, about 45 kilos per person, while fashion contributes 10% of global emissions. We're working to change that.
Inspired by Intercept Fabric Rescue in Whangarei, we've partnered with Nelson Tasman Hospice Op Shops. We take items unsuitable for sale and transform them into ones that are.
It's creative, social work. People of all ages and backgrounds come together to connect, laugh and learn while rescuing textiles.
